The Highway #77 area consists of six Northern Affairs Communities that are located along the Provincial Trunk Highway (PTH) #77. The six communities located along Highway #77 are; Baden, Powell, Barrows, Red Deer Lake, National Mills and Westgate. The Communities share a common goal to develop the Highway #77 area. Currently, the Highway #77 Regional Round Table is involved with Cedar Lake CFDC and Aboriginal and Norhtern Affairs to develop the Community Economic Development Concept Project.

The areas Round Table Committee meet a minimum of once a month to develop new ideas to enhance their location. Highway #77 has Tourism, Commercial Fishing, Ecotourism,. Non-Timber Forest Production and Outfitting Services for the community economic development activities. Highway #77 has a combined population of 245 people.
